"Do you work in the figurative animal genre? It's an artistic choice that seems risky these days..." "It's a funny story, actually I really liked kangaroos at that time of creation, the great Australian kangaroos made me dream, because of the pouch especially, it's disturbing this belly outside the belly. And as soon as born the new little K struggles to climb into the pouch and hang on to a teat for 70 days! I knew all that, I was circling around this strange maternity and, finally quite troubled, instead of making a kangaroo I gave birth to a horse. Afterwards I said to myself yes why not a horse?
