Sculpture
Vertebrae answer a crowd of questions: what makes me stand upright? Can I give people who are interested a non-frightening idea of my skeleton? What do we have in common with others—mammals and even more other others (amphibians, birds, fish, reptiles)? Sculpting vertebrae is an instinctive and reassuring act that places at the heart of the making of the living. Semaine des Arts, Aucamville — October 2012.
