Installation
This installation stages a stem cell multiplying. In Parc de la Conque (biodiversity-rich, LPO refuge), the work can become a host structure for birds, with many nests generated by this matrix. The viewer is invited to enter the mother cell to feel the life impulse and our regenerative capacity, our link to the living within and around us. Regeneration capacities are unevenly distributed among species; plants have extraordinary abilities, with almost every cell able to generate a whole plant. Made in wild clematis, the work makes the process of cellular duplication visible; its mathematical organization intertwines with the organic as lianas connect to surrounding trees. It questions links to the living and the "Great Divide" Nature/Culture, inviting a sensitive reconfiguration and renewed ways of being in the world.
